Earthium(f/x)™

This versatile, 2-part medium is a favorite of those who do special effects (f/x) work. It comes as 2 powders; one to control viscousity (flow), one to control setting time; 30 sec. to an hour!

A true LifeMask™ is easy with Earthium™ (f/x). The entire process is so fast that virtually any expression can be perfectly captured while the model justs holds their breath! Precision techniques are also best for lifecasting the hands or feet of infants while they sleep.

Slower techniques are sometimes required, such as when doing larger areas or entire torsos. Earthium™(f/x) is equally at home with these as the photographs below illustrate.

(The odd name comes from 2 of its components: diatomaceous earth and calcium.)

Being immortalized in statuary was but one of the rewards waiting for this bikini contest winning beauty. The "torso tank" method described in the LifeCast™ Library made the entire process go off without a hitch.
